it was night and i was on foot. they were on bike and snatched my mobile and ran away. i did'nt even recognized them.and did'nt notice the bike no. or colour.now please give the right suggestion to recover my mobile

police can track it if the thiefs will start the mobile. in some countries they also have to leave your sim in the phone. but they also know this...
the best thing you can do is to block your sim as fast as you can.

i guess u can. i tell u something. if u r an Indian u would know that main accused of NITHARI Monindersinh was caught few days ago coz he was having a mobile of girl called PAYAL who was killed by him. he destroyed the sim.n kept mobile with him.n just becoz of that mobile he was caught by police.
so there should be some system to find ur mob.go to the police or ask mob compony about this if they would know.

File an FIR against unknown person for theft. Let the police do what they are supposed to do and you dont worry about it. Get ur slim blocked and report theft to your service provider. If you have the CMIE no on the box packing, provide it to the service provider.

If you know the IMEI number of the phone the cops can use that to trace your phone down. Also provide your IMEI number to the service provider and they can also help you to block the phone. So that its worth nothing more than a piece of weight on their bike..

just do fir in police station or just can call to ur phone no and tell them to return the phone cause u recognised them and their bike and whould complaint it to police
though u don't know them
but if those people r doing for the first time there is a chance for u to get it back

first thing u do is report an F.I.R take the copy and go to nearest centre of u r service provider and ask him to freeze the sim card and issue u another sim with same number.
