I'm still working now (and it's only my first job and it's a short-term assignment), but I want to send my resumé to get a weekend parttime job.

What should I write under Job experience? (or I should leave it blank?) Is it disadvantageous to myself to let the company I'm applying for know that I am already employed elsewhere at the moment?

Thanks!

for sure that's a danger, yet I heavily doubt something will take place. Scammers like those make a great form of money doing on line scams. they are unlikely to waste time and take the huge danger of coming on your place or contacting you for possibly 0 financial payout. it quite is somewhat achievable they are no longer even placed interior the US. once you're extremely in touch you may call the police non-emergency huge form and ask them to do greater conventional rounds previous your place, like they do for human beings on trip. yet i does no longer complication approximately it too plenty.

No, its a great advantage to have current work. It shows you are CHOOSING to move and apply for a better job rather than desperate for anything.

try to identify aspects of your current job that would be useful to the other job. Eg are they both sales, customer service, repair, travelling.....

eg: If you are in pre-sales and applying for a new presales job:

In my current role i use highly transferable customer focus skills that require me to work with customers and explain details in a pre-sales environment

If you work in a shop and are applying to work in a bar:

My current role is a busy customer facing retail sales role. Dealing with multiple customers at the same time with a variety of queries and sales will enable me to work very effectively in a bar.

Best of luck.
