his girlfriends sick and he's like waiting on her hand and foot..shes a girl who cares about them..he acts like shes a princess or something.. is this weird to anyone but me??

Why exactly is that weird to you? Wouldn't you want to care for your loved one, and tend to them when they are sick!!?? In my opinion, your friend is very sweet and it clearly shows that he is head over heels in love with his gf.

He is taking care of his girlfriend because she is sick, and you think there is a problem with that? Seems to me he really loves her a lot.
