The distance between trees & us is very short so we can see the trees moving side by us but as the distance between moon and earth is very very long even it moves a bit we dont find any difference but if travell a very long distance may be more than 5 hour we can observe that the moon was eg :on the head & now it is in front of us.

the further things are, the less they will appear to move. The average landscape is, say, between a few feet, and a few miles, away from you. The Moon is 240'000 miles (385'000 kilometers) away.

plus, it's wrong to say that the Moon does not move. If you pay attention to the background on a clear night, i.e. the stars, you'll see that the Moon moves a bit, whereas the stars do not. And this is obviously because the stars are much, much further out than the Moon is (I know, it's a bit tough to see the stars well on a full Moon, but try with a crescent Moon).

Hope this helps

Neither trees goes away not moon follows. They are remaining in thier own spot. It is our sense, called as 'relative velocity' that is creating these illusion. Our velocity is very meagre when compared to our distance from the moon and is considerable when compared to the distance from the tree. This is the reason why, trees goes away and moon remain stationary, during when we're travelling.

As the size of any object diminishes in your view, its relative movement with respective to you decreases. So a tree that is 50 meters away looks 3 to 4 times smaller hence its movement relative to you is also less. Take the moon. How many million KMs away is the moon??? so there is indeed movement , but negligible..

You might as well see that the trees near us move away fast than the trees far away,Apply the same to moon,it's very very very far away-even more than a million miles so we can't feel it move.

The moon is so far away it looks like it stays in the same place.

The moon is very far away from the earth (approx. 300000km) and moreover, its size is much more than that of the trees.

Are you crazy?

You know, the Moon is not a lamp on the pole!!
It is a planet, it is a natural fellow traveller of the Earth,
it is hinging around Earth.

How old are you?
Do you go to school?

its all depend upon angle, trees are very close to us so the change in the postion means change in the angle.Moon is too far from us so when we moov angle also changes but its minor as the distance is larger. Angle then can't affect on the view.
