Sometimes babies don't engage until your actually in labor, even with first pregnancies. Other times it happens in advance. Sometimes you can feel it. You may notice the baby feels lower, or experience more pressure on your bladder, a sense of fullness in the hips or even pressure or even have tingling in the legs if the baby is putting pressure on nerves. I wouldn't worry about it this early. There is plenty of time.

Take a class on preparing for labor and you will feel better prepared for the whole experience.

Yes, she will drop down and you will feel more pressure on your bladder and pelvic area. You can also see a change in your abdomen if you are in tune to yourself. With subsequent pregnancies, the baby will probably not move down or drop until right before delivery.

They can actually engage in labour but with mine I certainly felt when they "dropped" It felt like my hips were soooo wide apart and just a lot of pressure down there. It was quite uncomfortable for a while but well worth it in the end. Good Luck!

you will only know when your obs/gyno tells you so....keep in mind that a baby can turn at the very last minute and generally will engage in the last couple of weeks when there is less and less room for them to move....

Your doctor will tell you when they do physical examination! Or when you feel the feet kicking at the top of your belly!
