Come in coughing and hacking, snffle every now and then, and react to everything slower than usual. That always works for me. People will feel sorry for you, and who knows you might actually get sent home!

B. Don't be a big drama queen and moan and shuffle around and "oh, God, I'm sick" (unless you want to go home sick again) but don't be all happy and running around "wooow!". Play it cool but C may impress your boss if that's what you want. But feigning sick can only be done occasionally. It should be used sparingly when you want to leave work or as an explanation to your husband as to why the house isn't clean, the dishes aren't done and you don't want to have sex.

Call in one more day and make it sound like you can barely make it to the phone, much less work. Then tomorrow go in as though you're still under the weather but have to be there. Get lots of sympathy! ;-D
