If she continues into further education you can still claim until her 19th birthday, The same as Child Benefit. as long as the education is full time, the CSA state full time is more than 12hrs a week.

In most places it is 18. My sister, who lived in Colorado at the time of her divorce was awarded child support until each child reached 21 provided the child was a full time student. If any child was not a full time student after age 18, support for that child ended at 18.

He should always pay child maintenance. When u have a child they don't stop needing stuff just when they turn 16. What about new shoes clothes? and all the other stuff teenage girls need?
I think he should stop paying when she has grown up and moved out and can support herself. U wont stop paying for things she needs till then so why should he??

That depends on what the original order said - find it and read it. having said that you can apply to have it extended if you child is continuing in education longer than was originally thought. Contact the court where the order was made and ask for advice.

He should pay at least until she leaves school.

As for university, a Scottish student recently sued her father for maintenance while she was at Uni, and won.

Good luck :-)
