Absolutely, babies don't realize there is only so much room in there. I remember getting quite a few whoppers from all my kids. Esspecially my first. Once with her I had to actually pull the car over so I could stretch and make room hoping that she would move her kicks hurt so bad. Anyway it is normal.

Definitely depending on where you are being kicked, sometimes it used to feel like my kiddies were trying to claw their way out. Congratulations and all the best.

yes, yes, yes, very normal it hurts to be kicked on the outside, worse on the inside. I have been woken up by a good blow to the kidney.

I don't know if I would classify mine as pain, per se, but there are definitely times when mine moves and the suddenness and strangeness of the sensation startles me and/or makes me "jump" or change position.

Yes, they get bigger and stronger towards the end of the pregnancy. And if they kick your cervix or bladder it can be very painful!

my friend's baby kicked and pushed his feet against her so hard, you could see a vague foot outline just below her ribs. she says it hurts! but he and she both came out of it fine.
