People will believe whatever poll they want to believe. I bet that the other answerers on here would have no problem believing this if it was a poll showing how many people DON'T support Bush. I have never been polled, and neither has anyone I know.
For anyone taking a poll out there, I DO support the president.

The other way round and upside down may be correct percentage i.e. 36 %.
Even that figure might have fallen by now.
Dead bodies are still puring in from Iraq and Afghanistan and you say that Bush rating has improved.
It will improve after the pullout orders.

Which poll? Maybe in the poll was taken in Crawford, Texas. Americans overwhelmingly are opposed to his leadership and policies. The latest Gallup Poll stated that 71% of the US opposes his leadership on Iraq. His overall approval rating is 36%.

If what you say is true why did the Political outfit of President.Bush has lost in the recent elections to Senate and Congress? There seems to be some think wrong in your poll results!

It is possible if you use a biased sample, like most polls. 15% of this country is socialist/communist and 15% more are tried and true Democrats. I never expect any politician to have approval ratings greater that 70%.
