Montana went on to spark his team to the 1978 Cotton Bowl versus the top-ranked and heavily favored Texas Longhorns. Notre Dame never trailed in the game, and stunned the Longhorns 38-10, giving the Irish a national championship.
Not bad for an "average" Quarterback. On average, in Montana's 4 Superbowls he was only made MVP 3 times for a 75 percentage which is graded on the dumbass scale as a C which is about average.
