Personally getting old doesn't agree with me

No. Maybe having your head squashed in a vice but the realisation that you've wasted years of your life on the wrong man and then when you do get out you're aging by the minute.....it's bad.

When looking back at the old photos of when you were young and gorgeous (but didn't know it!) yes, it is awful, but isn't it far worse when you see people who are ageing quite dreadfully and stuck in a time-warp with the same hair-do, make-up or clothes who refuse to accept ageing as a cruel but inevitable part of life?

Yes there is LOTS worse. Everyone gets older and you just have to live with it. Much worse things include death of people you love, divorce, illness, money troubles etc. Life is what you make it, so enjoy it! Older people still enjoy life. My mum is over 90 and still has a laugh!

No there is not but with age you should start thing of things you have missed out on and try and rectify as much as possible within restrictions set by health etc.
You are only here once it is not a trial run unfortunately

How true. I get a shock when i look in the mirror (or worse when the old angina kicks in) because when i don't look in the mirror i don't feel any different to when i was 18.

There are a number of approaches to growing old. You can be quiet and miserable about it, or you can enjoy it.

Relax. You now have the experience and knowledge to enjoy life for what it is. And you're old enough to get away with it. Don't worry about bits falling off - grow old disgracefully.

I don't like the idea of getting old, but I like it much better than the alternative, lol. There are some advantages however.....you only have to "hear" what you want to hear, and "go" when you want to go. I think I'll ride this "train" to the end of the line! Hope you do too!

there is nothing we can do about it, we must accept ageing as part of life.
