The NOAA predicted 4 to six "major" hurricanes yet there were none in the U.S. What happened? Is this just another inconvenient truth?

1. High pressure over Bermuda was far enough to the east so any storms in the Atlantic were swept away into the middle of the ocean.

2. The air over the Atlantic was drier due to sands from the Sahara.

3. The waters in the Atlantic were cooler.

4. El nino started, which causes hurricane activity in the atlantic to lessen.

BTW, what the above user is referring to are contrails, which naturally occur from planes in the atmosphere. Those who wear tinfoil hats like to think the government is spaying us with chemicals.

here in florida... the air was so dry in the begining of the year that we actually had lots of fires (normally very humid here)
In the summer, we didn't get our normal afternoon thunder showers...it barely rained. Fall felt like like summer and Winter felt like spring, my plants were blooming mid-Decemeber!

the only thing I know is... I looked up in the sky everyday for a year, and there were odd looking unmarked planes spraying white stuff that turned into clouds and the sun would reflect pink and green colors, and the planes would land over at the local airforce base...

The answer is surely "global warming."

The explanation for all weather phenomena, no matter what, is always so-called "global warming."
