3) 3 weeks after they were married told him she could no longer "handle" his son (who was 8 at the time with a learning disability ie: comprehension problem and in special ed)( yes, she knew about all this prior to the marriage, they dated 2 years) and his son was moved to his moms house..
4) Has told him he is a rotten husband because he wouldn't buy her a house in another state to be close to her family who moved away from her a year prior...

Yet her daughter will announce that her mom gives her money and buys her things all the time!
7) Her family came to "visit" for a week and when they left..took most of their food that wouldn't perish over a 12 hr. drive and then had the nerve to tell him most of it was expired anyway...(which was a bs lie) but when he made a "plate" for his son to take home at thanksgiving..she got mad.
8) Gets mad when he takes his mom to a "movie" but when her family is around..the sky is the limit!!!
9) has next to no contact with "his" family..he comes from a "strong" italian family but wants to be around hers all the time
10) Her and her daughter make a big issue if he tries to go to sleep at 8:00pm and wants it quiet so he can get a few hours sleep as he works grave 1:00am to 11:30-1:00pm..the act like the are "inconvienced" since they will have to turn down the tv and stereo..both have told him to get a day job..

just asking...he just feels he is "stuck"...

He is not stuck and he should get rid of her. Noboby should make you pick between your family and them. He needs to grow a back bone and stand up to her. She treats him like this because he has allowed it. Don't allow it anymore. Good luck

There can be many reasons to why she is acting like that. It could be that she has family issues. It might be from her parents acting the same way. Sometimes people say things that they dont really mean. I believe that its a part of life. She must have married him for a good reason. She knew he wasn't a billionaire when she married him. Maybe his son brings back bad memories for her. I would recommend her to a psychologist. She might b suffering from a mental disease.

I feel for your friend--I bet he's emotionally beatdown. His wife doesn't sound like a very nice person, but then again you don't really know what goes on behind closed doors. 9 years is a long time to be putting up w/ that kind of BS. Try to be there for your friend & make him feel good about himself to see where he wants to be in his life. Some people are just gluttons for punishment, they like the abuse & need drama to survive. Try to keep him in good spirits & maybe he can sort out his life for himself & his child.

Wow, what a controlling woman---why does he tolerate this? Unfortunately he probably can't get rid of her. On the other hand, it's cheaper to keep her. I don't know what to tell you--we all know people who are in a pretty lousy marriage---if they stay or allow it to happen, there isn't much that can be done. Be careful not to say anything about it--it is embarrassing and you might lose a friend. Just mind your own business. Sorry, don't know what else to say

Ever in view that i replaced into little and til on the instant i've got constantly called my mum "Mummy" and my dad "Daddy". purely because of the fact they on no account responded to "mum"/"dad". and it is often caught, i think. comparable with my siblings, too. I swear each and every time my mom calls me at artwork, and that i answer asserting "hi, mummy", i'm getting the main strangest seems from my artwork colleagues. They constantly discover that hilarious and normally take the mic. and that i will actual see why that's humorous lol yet, it is not in any respect replaced, and that i doubt it is going to. mothers and fathers will constantly be Mummy and Daddy. And especially because of the fact they gained't respond to something from their infants! : )

she married him for convenience only, she won't be around to help him if he ever should need her for anything. wants him to make more money to meet her needs only. she can't be unconvinced in the least, it is all about her and always will be. her family, her kid, all about her. he is stuck in a marriage of her convenience, and he needs to get out of it, as this woman will never be there for him, he does all the giving, but if he tries to do any giving to his kid, she throws a fit. she is selfish, and narcissistic. if they have no children he needs to get out of it, because if he does ever buy her a home, she will divorce him and take half of it. once she got him to marry her, she changed how she originally portrayed herself, she wasn't who he thought she was. he needs to get out of it while he can.
