Hello No I haven't taken any classes. But My brother in law has been a property manger for awhile and I pretty much have the job. BUt I have to show him that I can handle it and stuff. Me and my Fiance are supposed to talk to the man tomorrow. And I am worried that he will judge us based on our age (23 and 24) It is In Los Angeles, California and I think there is about 66 units, all singles. We are gonna get a two bedroom, if he likes us.

We really need this house, for us and our two daughters, so please help me out =)

For the position you are applying for you do not need a real estate license. If that was the case then everyone that owned four units or more and rented them out would need a license.

You also don't need to be rude to elders and obnoxious.

Basically you need common sense, understand a little about human nature, remember that this is a business.

The main thing in your line of work will be the safety and security of your tenants. The other thing is to insure that the area is always clean, damage to the units are kept to a minimum, tenant complaints are taken care of immediately or as soon as possible. If they can't be taken care of immediately make sure you inform the tenants.

Don't take sides in tenant squabbles as you might be forced to evict one or both, but you should keep friction down to the bare minimum between tenants.

I hope this has been of some use to you, good luck.
