you should tell use what processor you have, how much RAM you have, and how much disk space you hvae..you might just have an old computer.
If you have a relatively good computer, your browser is probably hijacked. and you need to scan your computer for infections.

how much ram is the system running? what other programs are running when you boot the system? Is your hard drive almost full? What version of windows and explorer? what is the speed of this computer?
Set the virtual memory so windows handles it. Then hit Ctrl-Alt-Delete and see what processes are running. There might be a file that is corrupt... usually it will be the one using up all the CPU resources. Hope this helps. Also put as much info about your system on future posted questions

You have to scan your computer through any anitvirus first then the problem with internet explorer reinstall it again but i would recommend you to use firefox rather than explorer, microsoft always have some kind of problem with explorer they probably didnt have the script written right or something wrong with the server.

if you are not an advance user , don't change the virtual memory space, it has very special aspects to change!!!
the best way is :
using Clean up of windows, you know it?
when the virtual memory error occured you should click on this error and choose what you want to delete (from your primary partition ,that your windows installed on it)
