Are you sick of answering this question and should we just find a link and send em to it? Should Yahoo have a biology course for the world or something?

I realize this is stressful for some however It really distrubs me so many girls arn't taught basic biology by ninth grade. I think maby they should have a site we can go to that lets them know in detail the biological facts or somthing It is heartbreaking to see all these young girls like this.

Maby this is a sign not for "sex" ed because they ovbiously know how to have sex but how eggs are fertalized, ovulation and what happens and the like. It seems to me this is a sign.

I have to agree with you - it's EASILY the question I see most. And people wonder why we need sex education....?????

Yes, it is the most basic question. But that doesn't really matter, because for everyone the signs for pregnancy is different, not everyone portrays the same symptoms and in some cases there are none.

Like when my beloved was pregnant, we had an idea, but it is nice to confirm it with the doctor, that way we get the latest information on prenatel care. We would have it on record, of being diagnosed, get an approximate delivery date, etc. Set up regular check-up and everything.

As for asking on Yahoo . . . it is ridculous, I agree. . . but kids are being taught fairy tales by their parents (primarily their mothers), so when they do get pregnant, they don't know it.

Sex Education is definitely required at an Elementary School level (between 11-13 yo). . . because some children are getting pregnant at grade school levels, and their parent never taught them anything about protection.

I both agree and disagree with you. I agree that the young people do need to be better educated in this matter, however I do not think that all who ask that question are young kids. I think some are women who want to be pregnant so badly and want to know all the signs. That way while they are waiting to find out they can have a little hope by looking for early signs. If it helps to ease their minds what's the harm.

On one hand I agree, on the other..... having been in a similar situation, the whole pregnancy thing is so STRESSFUL! The timing, the charting, the temps, the waiting and wondering, the testing, the hoping and then a BFN! Then it all starts again! So if that question helps someone a little in the turbulent time of TTC then I say let 'em ask !!!

I do see this question all the time. Take a pregnancy test, go see a Dr....etc. are the most common answers. I just think to myself..." When I thought I was pregnant I didn't ask a bunch of strangers I went to the store and bought a test, next step call the Dr. You would think that the majority of women would know what steps to take when they think they have become pregnant.

its most sickening yes. the are loads of resolved answers with the SAME things and they will ask the same question
same goes 4 :
- can i have sex during pregnancy
- will pre c-u-m make me pregnant
- at the 12 week scan can u see whether my baby is a boy or gal

really now.. these ppl should have a little more education than that..

its rather sickening to see the same questions over n over again.. this is a forum not a substitute 4 yr local dr!

That one I can deal with...the one I REALLY hate is:

"My friend said they were going to kill themselves! HELP!!"

Makes me wonder how long it's going to take for people to learn that if someone is really going to do it, they won't say anything and the ones that do say it are just trying to get attention.

But then again...how can someone know that when a bajillion girls and women out there don't know how to find out if they're pregnant.

You're right....

regardless of getting educated or not.. teens still have sex. Teens still get pregnant. Its just because they are young and they think oh it will never happen to me.. but then one day it does. I dont think anything anyone will ever do will change it. It happens.. and people learn.. but oh well.. babies are born.. its life.
