First and foremost it depends on the blood type of the parents. If both parents have O type blood then, it doesn't matter, all the children would have O type blood as well. But if the parents have either A, B or AB, then there's a possibility of the children having different blood type.
Secondly, it depends on the type of twins. Identical twins would have the same blood type because they are made of the exact same genetic makeup. Identical twins are formed when one zygote splits into two. So the genes that determined the blood type would be exactly the same.
Fraternal twins were a product of 2 different zygotes. So their genes are different, they are not identical. As such, their blood types could be the same or it could be different. Fraternal twins are as good as 2 different individuals, just that they are born at the same time.

Fraternal twins are just like regular brothers and sisters only they were born at the same time. They started off as two totally different eggs. The mother ovulated multiple eggs and as a result more than one was fertilized. Which is why fraternal twins are heriditary - the ovulation. If you are a fraternal twin or your mother is, then you are likely to have fraternal twins. Now identical twins are more of a freak of nature (sorry if i offend any identical twins lol) They started off as one egg and it split, like a mirror image. Identical twins are not heriditary, it just happens. So the answer to your question: Fraternal twins can have the same blood type or not. It's just like siblings born 2 years apart having or not having the same blood type.

Both my parents are twins. Mom is identical and has the same blood type as her sister. Dad is fraternal. It may be possible that they will have the same blood type, but remember that fraternal twins are two seperate eggs. The parents' blood types also play a role in what blood type the child will have.

Yes. Identical twins are a fertilized egg that splits into two fertilized eggs. They have the same DNA so they have to have the same blood type. Fraternal twins are like regular brothers or sisters except they are born at the same time because there were two eggs released in the mother instead of one. They can have variety of blood types depending on what the blood type of the parents are.

Identical twins always have the same blood type, as they are genetically identical. Fraternal twins can have the same blood type, but not necessarily.

Identical twins are just that, identical (however they tend to be opposite in things like handedness), so their blood types are identical as well...
Fraternal twins vary - some have the same blood type, other's don't. However as they tend to have the same parents (yes there ARE occasions when the twins are fathered by different men... kinda freaky, but women's reproductive bits are amazing...) they do tend to have compatible blood types, as well as compatible genetics for transplant matches (bone, organ, etc).
