Eight is not a large amount of things to memorize.
You can do it without tricks.

Given that Pluto was downgraded from planet status, you only have to memorize *8* planets.
One way is to make a sentence from the letters of the planets in order from the sun (Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune).
The letters are MVEMJSUN. Either memorize this as "m-Vem, J-sun" or make up a meaningful sentence for you...
When we were in school, I remembered "My Very Excellent Mother Just Served Us Nine Pizzas", but Pizzas are unnecessary today.
I guess you could make it, "My Very Excellent Mother Just Served Us Nachos" :)

remember this easy sentence and recollect the irst letter of each word. it must not be a difficult task to remember their names once u know their starting letter in order.

There's a very old mnemonic which works well:
Men very easily make jugs serve useful needs.
The first letter and in most cases the first two letters give you the planets:
MEn VEry EAsily MAke JUgs Serve Useful NEeds
