if death is just a part of life, how can you say life is good and death is bad? for people like me who believe in an afterlife, "death" is just a continuation of life, a transition into another kind of life. yet people always think life is good and death is bad!

Death signifies the end of your existence here on earth, if you have a good life you will certainly want to hang onto it rather than die to go some here you do not know anything about.

The idea of dying is so mysterious - completely unknown to man. Life after death...reincarnation...all those are speculations, no one is sure what happens after death. No one has been there & back before [forget about the stories poeple tell of experiencing heaven because they were seriuosly ill & almost died - those are illussions in the ears of the listener].

At the end of the day, not everyone believes in life after death & most of us would rather stay alive no matter what challenges life throws our way. I don't know if death is "bad" or not, but i sure know that life tastes good.

People are afraid of what they do not know. Death is mysterious to many people and thus is considered "bad." If we were able to view death as not an ending, but a natural part of the life cycle, then maybe it wouldn't be so scary to so many.

Death is what happens after life. They are mutually exclusive, even an "after-life" is part of death. Life is the only certainty we have, people generally fear change. I hope for an afterlife, but if life is all, I fear the end of my existence.

Death is not bad because it happens but because it separates you from the once you love but if in a way you can still see them once in awhile i would say death is good but now it doesn't happen that way and i will continue to say its bad.

to extremely ask the question to at least one's self i imagine the human beings ingredient could be bumped off first. it really is more effective useful if one is amazingly on my own, with the international round him and each little thing else in it besides human beings? life is a warfare to live on, with the direct rewards affecting our instincts. So we may then see that both would nicely be in our pastime. to love life for it truly is satisfactions, and absence of life as an end to the discomfort and torment the attempt of attempting to receive those satisfactions carry.

Because no matter how bad life is,it's never worse or even compaired to something unknown, "death".
As bad as life gets, you still have people around you sharing it, while you & everyone else have no idea what happens after we die.

people always fear what they don't know.

well that's a testament to your narrow-mindedness. some people do not believe in the afterlife, so nothingness would PROBABLY be a scary thing wouldn't it?
