I know EasyGPRS is Samsung's flavor of GPRS, but that's all I know.

GPRS is a global standard and part of the GSM standard. It includes the modulation protocols on the air interface and the protocols in the transmission link all the way back to the gateway server. GPRS allows a mobile to act like a modem on the Internet. The mobile itself may have a browser or a WAP application, or the mobile can be connected to a computer and just act like a modem.
EasyGPRS is software that you install on your computer to use your Samsung phone as a modem for Internet access through GPRS. The software has other phone-related tools (storing old messages and stuff).
