I reccomend AVG free edition by Grisoft. It is...well it is FREE for home users (you have to pay for corporate copies though)...and it is amazing. Beats norton, McAfee, and all the others in accuracy. It also gets rid of things that nothing else can. Just do it...don't even question this...it will work. The only thing you lose by not paying is 24 hour tech support. The updates are quick even on dial up.

well, as long as you always UPDATE, all the anti virus is the same dude.. but, most of them will ask you that you want to open or denied the program that you running.. like mc.affee and bitdeffender... which make you have alot of work to do to approve the program that you want to open..if you want to approve everytime you want to open program,then install one of them.. but norton only ask a few... better try norton...

every anti virus except Norton is preferred. i personally using kaspersky it find viruses after i scanned my computer with Norton.
