All 3 of my kids have been via caesarean with gaps between pregnancies of 29 months and 4 years. My Obstetrician told me it takes at least a year for a body to recover from pregnancy and a caesar - ie from the end of one pregnancy to the beginning of another. I'd wait at least that, running around after a toddler with a newborn can be exhausting enough without adding another surgery recovery time on top of it. Enjoy your baby boy now, he's gonna grow so quickly!!! Good luck and talk to your doctor on your next visit to get his opinion too.

Lots of women conceive accidentally around this time (3 months post pregnancy). There is nothing wrong with planning it that way either. If you feel ready to conceive another, you can. Just keep in mind that pregnancy is hard on your body and you'll be caring for your first infant as well. Plus, when #2 arrives, you will have your hands full. If you feel ready, go for it!! I had three children all via C-section so have no worries!! Good luck!

I would hope you wait for a year, not only to heal, but to give your baby at least one year of breastmilk. Tandem nursing is great, but sometimes milk dries up during pregnancy. Nothing could be worse than having 2 sets of bottles to make and wash as well as two sets of diapers to change while trying to heal from another major abdominal surgery.

Take it easy for a while and let your current baby get all the undivided attention you can give. Then he will be secure in his attachment and adding another sibling won't be a major trauma.

i have had 2 c-sections. most doctors recommend a max of 3 only. you need to wait a good 12 months before getting pregnant again. the inner stomach tissues need this time to recover.c-section isnt a little operation, its considered majour sugery. have a good chat to your doctor.but he will tell you to wait im sure.not just for your own health sake but for the baby also.

relatively relies upon. some medical doctors do no longer even choose a women human beings to purpose a vaginal start after having a csection, different medical doctors are greater prepared. a number of it is do to why the ladies human beings choose the c section or purely because of the fact the healthcare expert is making an attempt to cover his butt. once you get pg returned...ask your ob if he's prepared and if no longer, question others OBs. yet particular it is defianlty obtainable in many circumstances to have a VBAC(Vaginal start After Ceaseran)

I also had a c-section and was always told that you need to allow your body a good year to heal fully. Your doctor can help you more than i can but it will give you an idea.

It can take up to a year for your body to completely recover from a c-section. And btw, you next child does not automatically need to be a c-section. If you'd prefer a vaginal birth, look into VBAC.

I agree...wait at least a year. It may be physically possible to become pregnant sooner, but it is not good for your body.
