it all depends on where you want to go for starters. if you want to go to a jr college, then you have nothing to worry about. once you pass most of your classes in jc, most universities will accept you.

It's not impossible to go to a good colelge. The school will look at all aspects of your transcripts. However, perhaps you should submit an essay or explain to an admission counselor about how you have learned form your mistakes and that you wish to be given a chance to start anew at their fine institution.

if you were cheating at a UC, CSU or top private college, you would be surely kicked out of the system and they would make sure you wouldnt be able to get back in to any system they are in.
some girl cheated on my physics class, got caught, failed, and she is now no longer available to get into any CSU system here in california and it has been sent, her record, what she has dont to other schools (UC's and Privates here in cali). she has to go out of state now to study.
if this happened in high school, dont worry, retake it during your semester/quarter or adult school or near by community college.

No it won't be impossible, but cheating certainly won't make you look like a great candidate. You might have to prove your "trustworthiness" all over again.
