Money is just a tool of survival. Some will find happiness, but most will fall into greed, so they will never enjoy it.

Will Rogers once said God must have loved the common man because He sure made a lot of them. Hunt down Simon and Garfunkle's song "Richard Corey." You don't find out money doesn't buy happiness until you've wasted your life trying. Hunt down also Huston Smith's book "The Religions of Man" and read the first few pages of the Hinduism section. Some people are just as stupid about thinking pleasure or fame and equivalent to happiness. Hinduism knows better.

AHHHHH.....an interesting question my friend.

But money can bring you happiness. With a small amount of money you can buy what you need.

With a large amount of money you can satisfy your wants.

The mistake people make is that when they come into large amounts of money, they have the need to tell others less fortunate. And then all these sob stories start coming in. Then the money winners are made to feel guilty, and they get sucked into helping their less fortunate friends and family.

And when there is no more money, Suddenly there are no more friends and family......They have all mysteriously developed busy lives. And have no more time for the once rich people they knew.

No my friend Money isn't the problem. The problem is greed

Yes, they are usually quite stupid. Just look at all of the screwed up celebrities and stuff like that, they've got tons of money and they aren't happy. The key to happiness isn't money. But for some reason people still swear that money would make them happy.

I'll tell you why I pursue money. 'Cause I HATE stressin' over bills! I hate working everyday, just to make enough money to pay my bills. I don't want to spend my days working to pay my bills off. I want to finish college so I can get myself a job that pays well, so that I can stop living paycheck to paycheck, pay my bills, and have enough money left over to do the finer things in life, like travel the world. You might be happy being broke and living life in one country, but I see this life as my only chance to experience life, and I want to see it all. The only way I can ever get that chance is if I have enough money to do so. And did I mention how STRESSFUL bills are?!

PS

Kids believe money isn't the key to happiness because their parents pay the bills, and buy their clothes, and their toys. They are too young to even understand the value of money.

if well spent and wisely spent, money can surely make people happy but again pursuing money too much is just a sure sign of greed. We need money to survive but we can still be happy if we are not millionaires. But if we don't have money, again that'll bring a lot of sorrow.

It may not be the key to happiness but it sure is the key to existence aka survival aka eking out a livelihood

The rest of the question sounded gobledygook. (huh?) Would have answered it if I understood. Sorry

In our life, we define things in our own definition. Many people pursue it because for them, having money will complete their lives. For me, there is no wrong about pursuing money. Only if you use it in a nice way.

Money never had the power to bring happiness, but: money is the key to POWER.All of the negative social traits can be traced to, or associated with, money.
What those money-hungry people are actually after is POWER.
