I love being abroad and have traveled a couple times before overseas so I know how I get around. I know I need to go to grad school eventually but I thought it may be neat to do something like this while I am still young and have the available resources.

It depends which countries you want to visit, but you should look into which countries have working-holiday schemes available and which countries are easy to get work visas. There are a lot of opportunities globally to do voluntary work in exchange for keep, and almost anywhere you go you can pick up a hospitality or agricultural job and earn a living. If you were to travel to New Zealand, Australia, Chile, Europe, I'd recommend vinyard work. Its hard going but there is often beautiful scenery, you can make a decent wage, you don't need to be fluent in the language, and most of all you meet amazing people, from all walks of life. Other than that, you can get a bar job or kitchen job almost anywhere as long as you speak the language. A lot of agricultural work is seasonal, like fruit picking and tree pruning, and you can travel from one place to the next. have a look at www.bootsnall.com its an awesome travellers community.

You could try teaching English! A lot of countries only require a BA/BS degree to teach. Some also require a TEFL or CELTA certification. Look at this site...it'll answer a lot of your questions!

Good luck!
