i know its a stupid question.
i've been living under a rock all my life and only recently decided to get with the times and buy an Mp3. however, i dont actually know how to download and im way too embaressed to ask my friends. i heard that you have to pay for every song you download. is this true? and can you suggest any sites for english or indian songs. thanx

You will mainly have to buy the songs, I just use iTunes for .99 cents a song. But sometimes when you look up an artist on MySpace, fans have pages set up to where you can download the songs. There are a few British bands on there. I seriously doubt that is legal though, so do it at your own risk. There are some programs and services, like Rhapsody, that give you trial memberships with about 10 free songs.
