I believe we all see our own faults and I don't believe everyone has the same faults as I do. People don't all behave the same....don't you think that your question is kind of a strange concept? Think about it ...fail to see we are the same as everyone else? Example: If someone lies to you how is it that you are telling a lie to them? That doesn't make any sense.

I know many that deal with their issues but I also know many that blame-shift them off onto another. Without getting into psychobabble they act out instead of deal. I've known individuals that can fabricate stories so well everybody does the dance. However, when truth is presented to some of those people and they thwart it....it changes to harassment AND making a fool out of themselves.

I don't care what people think they know and there are many out there that feel the same. I deal with relationships and personal issues in the truth. Even if a friend says something to me and it's true then fine...maybe it is something I need to work on. If they are way off base and reacting to gossip ...that's their problem and I let them know it by either walking away or communicating intrusion. Projecters do the same thing when you talk truth to them did you know that? I use to react by explanation but I don't anymore I acknowledge the way they are behaving towards me first then set personal boundaries.

Sometimes we DO notice such things - as you just did. I learned a long time ago than when something that someone does REALLY ticks me off, it's time to start looking in the mirror! That doesn't mean you are always guilty of the same thing (there are plenty of jerks running around loose, after all), but it's worth thinking about when somebody pushes one of your buttons.

Its not so easy to believe or accept our own faults--we often try to ignore these things maybe because they are painful or unacceptable--such as overeating or drinking

A lot of times we often thought we, our self, are perfect without flaws. We don't want to think that we are imperfect in many ways. We are too proud and egoistic.

The only solution I can think of is humbleness. We have to humble our self to be able to see oneself.

people are our mirrors ....we all should use them....and it's so hard to see ourselves objectively
