Is feminasties denying female violence exists part of a larger problem? :

http://abcnews.go.com/Primetime/story?id=2741047

The story took a look at what happens when women abuse men. A video segment consisting of two trained actors in a city park was filmed to document public reactions to female-on-male violence. Reactions by the public were limited to the extremes. 163 passers-by were indifferent. Four women sent an emissary to talk with them, but left after the actress said, "This is not your business". However, one of the women did report it to 911. In contrast, another woman made a fist as she walked by, muttering, "Good for you. You go, girl!"

Now what if that was a woman?

You're going to have to excuse me for thinking feminists are responsible for this seeing as they monopolize the domestic violence industry, lobbied for biased laws like VAWA and based their entire "second wave" around the premise men abuse women.

If that guy laid a FINGER on her ONCE, even after she had been assaulting him, what do you think would have happened?

Why do you think feminists are going on about self-defence. There are 'primary abuser' laws on the books now that basically say, "he must have previously abused her for her to do that so arrest him".

Dear Sociopath: "Thou art a counterfeit crank, a
cheater." I'm here to let the others know NOT to waste
their time answering your so-called "questions". In
fact, your postings are not questions at all; instead,
they are the impotent rants of a profoundly disturbed
and hateful CRANK and W-A-N-K
Confused yet again? Poor dearie. Knowing that you are
linguistically challenged, I've included a dictionary
definition for you:

http://www.webster-dictionary.net/defini...
Definition of Crank

4. A twist or turn of the mind; caprice; whim;
crotchet; also, a fit of temper or passion.
Violent of temper; subject to sudden cranks.

5. A person full of crotchets; one given to fantastic
or impracticable projects; one whose judgment is
perverted in respect to a particular matter.

6. A sick person; an invalid.
Thou art a counterfeit crank, a cheater.

In light of the above it's obvious why I consider you
a crank: you are "one whose judgment is perverted in
respect to a particular matter." The proof is in the
ugliness and deceptive nature of your postings. As I
have pointed out repeatedly, your sources are either
mental midgets like yourself (your FELLOW CRANKS) or,
you simply LIE . You make up "truth" as you go along,
as it fits your warped paradigm of the world. The
effortles nature of your lying is nothing short of
pathological. That part (of course) make you a
world-class W-A-N-K.

Just for the record, here a tally of your lunatic
"questions" thus far:

I'm confused! Why would an all girl's school sign a
petition to end women's suffrage?!?

The whole debate on this is really interesting. Personally, I think that women should by no means be given any preferential treatment. Abuse is abuse and should be stopped immediately irrelevant of gender. If I was a passerby that day, I would definitely have intervened and helped the man. I also believe that men should be allowed to hit back in defence without any repercussions. If she can give it out, then she must take it as well. Men are too often treated unjustly in such issues, and women manipulate these occasions, because they know they can. It's a sad, sad world we live in.
And by the way, I was a victim of abuse for 7 years, so I do know there are scumbags out there, but I never judge the whole male species on a few a*seholes.

You really need to read the book "If Men Have All the Power, How Come Women Make the Rules" by Jack Kammer. It isn't about this per se, but it's about similar issues. Download that here: http://www.rulymob.com/

And don't be too hard on people for this. I heard of a similar experiment once -- a guy getting hit by a car, or something like that -- and the results were similarly disturbing. It's on video somewhere I'm sure, but I honestly don't know where to look for it. I think it was in Germany though. I also heard somewhere that about 10% of people think that Elvis is still alive. So now you know why people act like that. It's because they're stupid sheep. Good night!

This reminds me of a story Oprah did a few years back on an actual police and news story. A woman was raped in broad open daylight on a Chicago subway Platform in downtown Chicago and the result was the same as these you mention. The rapist got away.

I do remember a college professor of mine telling our class that female stalkers and pedophiles did not exsist...Mind you he barely gave me a passing grade for my theory. Here it is 20 years later Mr Enos! They are all over the news, being given preferential treatment. They should meet the same justice in child molestation cases. people are stll asking" what did they do to "make" them do it". Blame the victim! The other side of the domestic violence debate is that men who do it tend to "Kill" their victims more frequently than women. They also abuse the children and step children of those relationships and police often are not trained adequately and the neighbors don't get involved, depending on the culture they came from.

I don't think people in general care anything about a fellow human being anymore and have absolutely no conscious about it. The majority of Americans feel they somehow deserve it and would probably like to act out in the same manner!

If the person were either a man or a woman that had the crap beaten out of them I would try to help either one of them. Mainly because it shouldn't matter about the person's gender. What matters is the person who is doing the beating needs to smarten up and deal with their problem of abuse. Let's treat all human beings equal and not just talk about equal rights when equal rights means respecting others as well.

If people would smarten up and see the real issue is dealing with violence against humanity and race not just one gender but all people then maybe we may get some where as to resolving our problems.

If people want to get an education then join a support group where there are people who have been hurt and see what they go through on a daily basis. Life is hell for those who have been traumatized whether they are male or female and it may even take people years before they find their way out of it.

Bullies need to be convinced themselves that what they are doing is wrong period! Picking on someone doesn't make you a smarter person or a better person. It makes you look incredibly ugly on the inside because your whole attitude shows the kind of person you really are on the inside. If others agree with that kind of person it's because they are probably bullies themselves.

If people complain about our society and how the system works or how people are lazy because they don't work. Ask yourself this question. Do you contribute to everyone's well being around you? If you say yes then maybe you are one of the few really good people who actually believe that what you do does have an effect on others around you. I take my hat off to you and salute you!

If you are not then you are probably the kind of person who beats others up or pick on them just because they don't agree with you on how you think it should be! You have contributed to abuse, domestic violence, verbal abuse, obsessive control of others, mind control, etc. Yes the list can go on but hey why should you care it's no skin off your back but others if suffer because you behave like this!

I don't think we would have enough jails to cover as many bullies that we have in society to lock them all up! Bullying should be a crime! I do have to wonder how bullys would be with their own kind would they all beat each other and kill each other if they were in the same cell together! (Not that I am for murder but you would think that they would because they would have to find someone else to pick on.)

Hurray for the underdogs and those who come out from under the abuse of a bully and become strong for it! You are a survivor and have become stronger for it!

Now I wouldnt let that happen, but like 3 years ago when i was 13 I saw this fight. It was one women (probably in her 20 and had a little girl) against a guy(on his 30) and a women (the guy wife, 30's also) They where just beating her up in the mall. It was a unfair fight since the guy (which was really strong) was holding both of her hands into her back when his wife (or girlfriend) was beating the other poor girl. I dont know how the fight started but I wanted to help her so badly and her little daughter was standing there. (she was like 2) but my mom made me leave, and there were so many people standing there not helping her at all.

Well first off, the video didn't show a woman battering a man. She didn't have him down on the ground thumping him it was a little shoving. I am sure there are nutso women who do throw hard objects and repedidly batter men but this was not the case in the video.
Point two, the shoving the woman had been doing barley shove the guy out of pure lack of physical strength.
Three as one woman said "I didn't' even think to protect the man." That's a misconception in our society. That guy, in all honesty if he wanted to turn around could drop her ass like a hot potatoe, forgetting that he might have emotional issues or has been indoctronated not to hit women which brings him to the point of not even deffending himself.
Four, the fact is this happens probably mostly in America because women are being horribly abused around the rest of the world.
Five, not all women beat men as not all men beat women, and not all of us think that this is all right. I think part of the problem is that socially it has not been brought to peoples awareness and that it should. People don't realize that women can send men tot he hospital.

Relax.

For some reason, I am not able to view the video, but I am going to comment on this issue anyway.

I dont believe this is a feminist issue. This is an issue that occurs in many different situations - people see something they dont want to see and bury their heads in the sand. I was in a nightclub once and my friend (girl) was being bashed by some strange guy. There were a bunch of people all standing around watching and doing nothing. It was up to me and another friend to drag him off her (and then we were kicked out of nightclub not him!). So, people dont just stand around and watch when a woman is hitting a bloke - they also stand around and watch when a man is hitting a woman.

I'm appaulled that hardly anyone did anything to stop this. I'm positive my husband and I would have intervened, so it's hard for me to understand how people can just turn a blind eye.

This isn't about feminism, this is about peope in general. People can be seflish, cowardly creatures with no concern for anyone but themselves. Don't look for a scapegoat, people are responsible for their own attitudes and actions. HTH.

I agree there is a definate bias, but It doesnt seem like they took into consideration the bystander effect (people not doing anythig because it is in a public place and no-one else is helping).
