they are AllData Disk LLC/and on the disk itself is printed AFW DISK with a semi-circle ending with an arrow. Also as an example of one of these disks' is a long number which turns out to be a part number we believe. the container they came in says software installation disk/140 piece set/dated from 1999 and back. We are curious to know if we got a good deal or not and what to do with them and how to use them if needed. such as do we need some sort of password or code to use them or what? I know this is a big order, but hopefully someone out there is smart to know what they are.

Well I can tell how smart you are. Why did you post this under cars & transportation?

Apparently that other fella isn't aware that Chilton, and AllData are somewhat synonomous with automotive. Unfortunately, I can't give you a good answer either though. I do agree with him, that computers may have been a better place to post this question, regarding bypassing codes. Sorry, and good luck

Contact Chilton and ask them. There should be nothing wrong with selling auto repair computer disks, unless they didn't own them.
