I think the question is: Why are there Bibles in a hotel room in the first place? If you want to read the Bible (or any other book), why don't you bring it from home?
Should a hotel promote one religion over another? I think not.

Because smaller ones cost the hotels less money to supply/replace. Believe me, most hotels think a 'Bible' in a drawer in every hotel in America is as retarded as it is negligible, but too many people expect it there.
