i have a geforce mx 4000 and i was wanting to know if the GeForce FX 5200 is much better.i only have PCI slots.i don't want to spend much $$ on my POS pc.i am running a 380w PSU and windows ME.one more thing does any one of the 2 cards have a way to monitor the temp of the GPU?last thing is there ANY software that will unlock the pipelines on the 4000 mx?if you answer any or all of this that will be great.

It is better visual quality wise, but won't be much faster. But i don't think they make FX 5200 in PCI , only in AGP.
You probably cannot monitor the temps. on those cards, but it's not necessary they won't overheat.
I don't think you will be able to unlock pipes on the MX4000.
