MLA Format: Works Cited Guide
Always alphabetize the works cited page by the author’s last name. If there is an editor (compiler) or more than one author, use the editor’s name or the first author on the list. If there is no author (an anonymous or unsigned work) use the title. The entire works cited page must be alphabetized as one unit; do not separate items by category. The Works Cited Page should also be paginated as part of your paper. The correct format must be followed so that the information can be retrieved again if needed. Follow the punctuation format exactly.
