My oldest son was the same way towards my wife with our 2nd child. Your children can since a change in you and obviously see the change in you. Please don't take offence to that, but your one year old knows something is up with mommy. Like one of the previous answers, once the baby comes, everything will be great. your 1 yr old will have a baby bro or sis. Just remember the baby will need a lot of attention, so don't accidently look over the 1 yr olds needs and attention. It is actually easily done. i wish you the best and goodluck.

buy her a pretend baby..with the diapers and the bottles and all that and set up a baby bed. Play together with her *helping* the new baby and tell her what a good big sister she is. My daughter did the same thing but was over it fast because we had her *help* with a lot of stuff

I know a woman like that. She has a 2 year old girl and she doesn't want anything to do with her mom. She doesn't act out or anything towards her, she just doesn't cuddle up or anything with her. Her dad, well that's a different story. I'm sure that there are alot of women that are going through what you are. Just hang in there, I'm sure that it will get better. Good Luck

It's natural. Your daughter is probably jealous of the new baby and all the attention he/she receives.
Don't worry; once your baby comes, your daughter will be quite happy with her new sibling.
Good luck!

nah, kids that age go through stages like that. she doesn't even realize thatyou are going to have another baby. However, it could be that you are unconciously putting her second to the belly and pushing her away too often.
