play games. The Jigsaws are a great way to earn gold I've noticed LOL :D I went from like 2000 Gold to 6000 just by playing the jigsaws a lot. you get anywhere from 10-180 Gold per puzzle! I think I got 300 one time... but that was like, 100 pieces or something, and took me 2 hours...

Talk on the forums, vote on polls, and vote random entries in the tournaments. That's the fastest way. Although chatting in a long period will start to give you smaller amounts of gold for each post or vote. And you can play games too.
