I work with Microsoft Support staff in Shanghai and just asked the team lead for Vista Beta support: it's impossible. Bad luck.

It won't run on 256. Why bother at this late stage? Once it gets released at the end of the month to the public, the betas won't work anymore anyway.

you're having a moist dream. you won't be able to run an OS with flash memory. It should be modern-day on the mobo to commence with era. Even then, you'll choose 2 gigs of motherboard ram for it to run first rate.

read the reveiws, it isn,t worth the effort even if you met minumum specs, pc world tested it on several brand new comps, and most needed software mods to even run it, its mainly desingned for dual core optimized software and directx 10 apps that don,t exsist yet

It wont install. I'm pretty sure the setup will examine your hardware to see if your system meets the system requirements.

Don't try. You don't want to. I did. It sucked. Really, really, really, really, really, really, really badly. I'd recommend at least 512, no less. Don't even try. It would be foolish with Vista.

I don't think you can. I think you need a certain amount of ram for it to operate.
