i have an experience of having body current.So often when i touch metallic knob of my door i experience it?

i feel scared that it may not harm me.It feels as if there was some current in that object which i touch.Can somebody tell me whats reason?

It is due to the generation f static charge in your body because of synthetic clothes we wear. If you wear cotton clothes, such a thing will not happen.
