Existentialism is a form of artistic expression in writing, politics, art, film, or other form of acting out that is detached from reality. In the stage, writers like Camus are examples of existentialism. In art there are variations of existentialism including Jackson Pollack's abstract existentialism. In general, existentialism does not need to have an anchor to reality.

Hi Kitycat!
Do you like existentialism as in "Lord of the Flies" or existentialism as in "The Little Mermaid?"

I saw I Heart Huckabees, and thought it was hilarious. It was funny because it sees the inherent flaws in taking the meaning out of everything.
I suggest reading Nausea by Jean-Paul Sartre and The Stranger by Albert Camus. Research it, have fun reading it, but don't live by it.
