I was saying all along that Boise St. should have been the team playing Ohio St. tonight to settle the true National Champion, so I definitely think they're deserving champions. It's not as easy as people think to go undefeated in a non-BCS conference. Boise St. is the 2006 National Champions!

They should at least be given a part of the title or a chance to play florida. if a team can go undefeated and be the only team to go undefeated without having a chance at a national title, what is the point of having a national title?

The bowls are 'whack" but so is the Boise State Schedule. Sure, they beat Oklahoma and shocked the world, but they need MORE wins against Oklahoma-like competition to earn that kind of respect.

Boise State played who? Sacramento State, Oregon State, Wyoming, Hawaiʻi , Utah, Louisiana Tech , New Mexico State, Idaho, Fresno State, San Jose State, Utah State, Nevada and Oklahoma? Come on, that's is the weakest schedule of any other BCS team. Period.

At the end of the day, it's 11 guys slugging it out against 11 other guys. Boise State had an incredible season. Why not let them step up and take a shot at it.....

No, Boise may be undefeated, but they play in the WAC, their toughest confrence opponent is Hawaii. They are a quality team, no doubt about that, but they don't and did not deserve a title bid.

They should get the chance to play for the National Championship, but I would not automatically crown them champions without playing a National Championship game.

No they don't. Their best win came against an Oklahoma team that wasn't even having a good year and they still almost lost. It was an awesome game, but they would not beat an actual BCS worthy team. (By BCS worthy I mean any team not called Notre Dame, Oklahoma, or Wake Forest)

If they were to go through a season with no more than one loss, perhaps. So far they haven't had a season, just a dozen scrimmage games. An SEC schedule is phenomenally brutal, and the other big majors aren't that far behind.
