for a lot of reasons, actually. the riazor jinx, guti's injury which had him subbed out early, deportivo's solid defense, a flat footed cannavaro, a clueless emerson (half the time i couldn't figure out what he was doing, lol); one lone striker and no robinho, tsk tsk; arizmendi acting like an attack dog; rumors of valeron's return (rotk like, lol), screaming galicians, the fog (or was this at the getafe game, i forget)...etc, etc.

We all know everybody loses to Real Madrid on purpose because every club in the Spanish league hates Barcelona and loves Real Madrid. It's just the facts.

madrid never won in depo ground for 13season, and the odds ( handicap ) were to low against deportivo..plus barcelona draw earlier with getafe,n sevilla lost ,punters /madrid fans whack on madrid to win,bookies/players around the world hd a good day,cos they CAN draw or lose the game with a gap of 5pts with 21games to go..

Real Madrid looked horrible out there. not to mention Nistelrooy was the lone striker. sucks for Gago who had a bad debut match

Because the team has alot of starz and this becomes hard to the coach because he dosen't now which players to put.
