Mr. Dabolina, Mr. Bob Dabolina. China keeps a calling on the meter.
It's was set up to be like a checks and balances system. Neither Conservative or liberal could be in total control. A 2 or more party system is a Democracy. Socialism is what you may be thinking, but does not allow for equal opportunity and the benefits of competition.

As a member of a recognized American Indian tribe, I can tell you that "United we stand, divided we fall" only applies to the Chief, the Council members, the appointed judges of the tribe, and any person who is a family member of same. My tribe has their own constitution, supported by the Bureau of Indian Affairs and the United States Government, attesting to the tribes' sovereign right to govern themselves within the jurisdiction of Federal law: whatever that means.
My tribe owns and operates nine Indian casinos, raking in over 500 million dollars a year, yet many people of my tribe are living below the national poverty level. Yes, we do have "free" medical care if we want to wait in line for hours to see a doctor, who is in many instances, 70 or 80 years of age and isn't aware of any new techology since 1980.
My tribe should be working toward giving their "people" a quality life; but, they're not. Greed, avarice, self-advancement is everywhere. My mission, and yours, is to unite and speak out for what we deem injustice.

first off that was a political statement used by Lincoln during the civil war to raise moral. but for application to the real world its horse sh*t. No one is united, because everyone is different. the role of government is to maintain order, and keep the people from infringing on the rights of others. government can't invent rights, rights live in spite of government. i guess in short ignore the stamen, it has no realistic value. a nation has never been united, and never will. people who hope for it are DA's the goal is to live with our differences in as much peace as possible. but some times "the blood of tyrants and patriots must be shed from time to time." (Jefferson) There are some people who have views that are dangerous, and must be dealt with accordingly. ie killers rapists, and all the Muslims that thinks the infidel's should be killed

No less than George Washington agreed with your premise. The next question would be who does the alienation benefit. The individuals of both parties seem to retain their power through this division. Is it time to elect true independents?

we are able to elect our MEPs eh, the european parliament is the most ineffective, powerless elected body on the globe. the human beings who run the union are the fee and also you've were given no say of their decision making or their appointment. quite truthfully i might want to favor to hitch the united statesa. least they have an energetic ideal democracy even if the human beings make unusual possibilities for president.

The other saying is, "Divide and Conquer." In the 21st Century, there is a great war going on. Not with bullets and bombs. It is a war for your mind. I will give you this: It's "their best", not "there best."
