A) The fact that the cell has chromosomes (as opposed to circular DNA strands) indicate it is an eukaryotic cell, which only divides via mitosis and cytokinesis to produce new cells.

B) In the mitotic division all daughter cells will have the same number of chromosomes as the parent cell, and therefore should have 10 chromosomes.
