I'd say 1993 Heisman winner Charlie Ward since he never even stepped foot on an NFL field, but that doesn't truly answer the question. I'll go with a different answer and say Andre Ware from 1988 (I believe). I'd say Jason White or Eric Crouch but neither was projected to be a starting NFL QB.
* And just of note, ESPN actually had Ware down as #21 in the 25 biggest busts of the last 25 years (1979-2004).

Terry Baker from Oregon State, a single wing back, was pretty bad in the NFL, but that does not detract from his ability and peformance as a college football player. The original winner of the Heisman never played in the NFL.

Rashaan Salaam has to be one of the biggest flops. Charlie Ward didn't even get to play in the NFL so does that count????
I'd say Andre Ware is the biggest since he was so highly touted coming out of college. Not all Heisman winners are projected to be great pros, but he was supposed to be great.

This year is another example of media hype. Why do we
allow these media types to think for us , 90 % of all the
Heismen winners are losers. Someone starts the ball
rolling how good someone is and it just snowballs.
The so called experts dont know anymore than we do
and will never get it right.
