Ive raised myself on all the blood and gore ever made and Most wouldnt say Im currupt. What about the children in plaes with war and such?, do you think the child warriors of africa, little 8 year olds with AK's are half as ill manored as our children? History Like several other Disneyland attractions, It's a Small World originated with the 1964/1965 New York World's Fair (it was Pepsi's pavilion.) After the fair closed the ride was transferred to Disneyland and when the other parks opened they too included versions of the ride. The attraction was designed by Mary Blair, who was also an art director on several Disney animated features (including Cinderella and Peter Pan). Like many Disneyland and Walt Disney World attractions, scenes and characters were designed by Marc Davis, while his wife, Alice Davis, designed the outfits of the dolls. The name of the ride was originally "children of the world". When Walt Disney demonstrated it to songwriters the Sherman Brothers the ride's soundtrack featured numerous national anthems all playing at once. Disney said, "I need one song." In response, the brothers wrote what would be known as the most performed and translated song on earth: It's a Small World. [1]

I don't think so. Video games, maybe. And the peripheral obsession with wealth and celebrity generated by magazines like US and PEOPLE.

I remember a study somewhere that tracks the occupational aspirations of schoolchildren... years ago, you had a lot of wannabe policemen, scientists, and firemen. Now some incredible percentage proclaim that they want to be celebrities in music or film/tv. Me, I blame that on the phony culture of celebrity --- I have a lot of famous friends who don't live the high life you'd probably think they do. Heck, I write and produce a television program and can't afford to buy a house in LA where I live!

Yes Khushboo, I totally agree that Television is spoiling kids very swiftly. By nature kids are not very perfect with brain they are not able to understand what right or wrong for them. They simply copy what they watch on TV. They often hurt themselves by coping the characters of cartoon movies they watch on TV.

Kids sit in front of TV for hours with loads of Chips and snacks in their hands. Eating and watching TV without any physical activities make them FAT. A numbers of childres are getting fat due to this bad habit.

Yes, I think it also spoils the matured too. Some even acts like a brainwash machine, by providing false information (and hide behind 'fiction') whether the watcher realizes it or not..
