What can you do to help them?

What is your insight on HOW someone does this for 40+ years, and doesn't learn? I mean, if it were me, I would have ONE spot to put the glasses when I wasn't wearing them, and I would consistently keep them in a case.
Seriously...every day, we go on a 'glasses hunt'!

It's impossible to designate places to set them, because he needs them for distance, and not for close work or reading, so they come off & on all the time. They are sometimes under the hood of a car, or on a chair. I know there's no answer to this. Just think it is interesting to see what you all have to say!

Why YES, Sharky, they need glasses. They need them welded to their head!

This reminds me of the "exceptional education" students in elementary school, who had thick bottle glasses strapped to their noggins. I'm not being mean, just suggesting that it might be a viable option.

I don't know why someone who needs them would even take them off except to sleep or shower. My daughter has been wearing glasses since she was 9 and in 6 years she has NEVER misplaced them because they are either beside her bed on the table or on the bathroom counter. Decide with him the ONLY places (2-3) in the house that he will be allowed to put them if he takes them off and have him give you $5 for every time he puts them elsewhere.

Get them one of those strings, or the bands that wrap around thier heads..... OR contacts!
