in Halo, how do you.....?

charge up the plasma gun..... I kno you can charge it up and shoot a big burst, how?

First off, you can only do this with the plasma pistol, not the plasma rifle. Push and hold the fire trigger - you'll see a big glob of green light at the end of the barrel and hear a loud hum. Point and release the trigger, and you'll fire a bolt that contains 10 shots worth of energy; it's best for taking down jackal shields.

Some controllers don't support this feature and will always fire one shot even if you hold down the trigger. The newer 'Asian' (small) controllers are most likely to do this because they weren't made to the same specifications, and the trigger switch is too 'dumb' to distinguish momentary from prolonged activation.

For Xbox: Press and hold the right trigger with it equiped. Release when a green ball of energy appears at the muzzle of the pistol. Congrats you have fired a charged shot.
