If they don't have anything nice to say about your cooking, then they should keep their mouths shut. Besides how will you know if it's any good? Criticism is a way to improve your cooking skills. Get angry enough to be the BEST cook

Most of the people in my house that didn't like my cooking were old enough to cook for themselves. I quit cooking and just stock my kitchen with ingredients that can be used by anyone who decides they want to cook. It hasn't been perfect but somehow we weren't able to successfully teach the eating of food graciously without complaint so this was the final act.

Well, I will look for some of the answer, cause I deal with it every day. My hubby does not like my cooking and I do my best. But he is a picky eater. Everyone else seem to enjoy. Including myself. His opinion is important for me. But when we go to friend's house, he eats even if he does not like. I guess, we should just turn the page and keep on going.

Be aware that you cannot always cook everything that every happens to like. We are all different.
Best thing to do is to ask people what they would like to eat BEFORE you cook and how they would like it done.
Maybe even cooking 2 things to chose from would help.

Good question ! For me its not 'anger' as much as feeling demotivated. Also accepting criticism in any sphere of life is difficult. As a result I can never give a honest opinion of anyone's efforts ! I just say it is great !

After all that effort?
Shrug it off. When my sister's baking did not go as planned, she can always count on the family's pet dog to appreciate her efforts (that dog will eat most anything).

when i'm angry something is wrong with me. Today, acceptance is the answer to all my problems. Expectations are pre'meditated resentments. think about it my son.
