Okay i just got my computer and there is blockes on sites like myspace aim and everything but yahoo do you kno why or how to get them off?

i'm not for sure if this will work but get online and go to Tools and on the bottom it should say Internet Options and try lowering your security level.

Well is it your pc or your parents there must be blocks there for a reason but if not just go into the tools internet options and contents and add those sites or change w/e to get you on those site.

umm did your parents do it?
i take it it's a used computer too... no new system would come with blocks built in already. But if it did and your the administator on your system you can go into Tools- internet options-security -restricted sites - click on the SITES button and edit the sites there

Do you have a virus scanner? There would be a firewall there, and you can set what you want blocked and what you want unblocked, just open that and unblock those sites.
Pop-up blockers will indicate on the top of your internet page, just press that and say allow pop ups!
