Johnny Majors (losing to Paul Hornung of Notre Dame in a year when the Irish went 2-8 while Tennessee went 10-0)
Peyton Manning (losing to Charles Woodson because ESPN and certain other people are too STUPID for their own good. The clamor arose to reveal that a defensive player had never won the Heisman before and they wanted to show that other positions besides QB could win. So, they found a decent player with just enough BIG plays on offense [Champ Bailey of Georgia had beeter stats as a two way player than Woodson, why didn't HE win it?] to offer up a vote.)

There is a long history of number two's in the voting doing at least as well as the winner in the NFL, so I'd like a firm definition of "snub" to answer that. My personal biases, though, go to a father-and-son pair named Manning. Pick either or both.

Vince Young. If Reggie bush played for Texas and Vince played for USC, Vince would have won. It was a popularity contest and Socal will always win against Texas in a popularity contest. Vince's impact in the NFL compared to Reggie is proving who is the better player.
