He has also been citing the communist ideas of Lenin and Marx. Anyone been to Venezuela? Any opinions on this?

I am venezuelan and I live in Venezuela and my opinion is that what Chavez wants is to be the owner of the country. He's the worst president we've ever had and I have my doubts about the results of the elections, because he has total control of the electoral organization (called CNE). It is not surprise for me that he's citing Marx or Lenin, but it does surprises me that people still believe in him.

Chavez is bent on adopting socialism and it is the reason he is making government ownership of companies.

My opinion is he is a democratically-elected leader, implementing the economic reforms he promised before the election, and whether Americans like it doesn't matter one bit.
