Because they do not understand the lifestyle. And sincethey dont give themselves the opportunity to get to know any transgendered people they dont realize that they are normal like the rest of us. The majority of them are anyway.... ;)

People are always quick to judge something thats out of the norm. If its not something they've personally witnessed, been associated with, or at least shown at a young age the natural instinct is to completely reject it. It blows... but that seems to be how most people in our society (coughcough America cough) works

I don't know. I am not I have a pen friend that is and she is wonderful.
At one time in my life I had 10 friends that were trans. I even end on a date with a per-opt. She was very fine.

I didn't even know such people existed until I met one at a BDSM dungeon party.
I did not understand then, but i learned. I got to know her and...
1 year later I was dating her. LOL!!!!

coz i dont see any point of them bein transgendered,i mean if she is a female and she likes females then she can always be lesbian and the same with males but those who says oh i feel am the oppsite sex from inside,that doesnot make sense..sorry

i dont know... most of the tg ppl i have known have actually been very cool ppl ... i think many of us have a need to look at others in some harsh way so we can feel better about ourselves... thats why jerry springer was/is so popular....

Usually their own sexual confusion or latent homosexuality. A healthy adult who knows their orientation and understands their libido isn't threatened by other peoples sexuality.
